Service Charge Disputes

Steve Phillips has twenty years experience of acting for both landlords and long leaseholders in residential service charge disputes.

His main area of work is determining whether or not service charge costs are reasonably incurred. This includes providing an opinion on whether or not Landlords have neglected their properties and failed to carry out their repairing obligations under the terms of the lease and providing commentary on the standard of workmanship carried out in repair works.

For Landlords, Steve provides advice on the reasonableness of their actions and acts on their behalf in disputes arising from challenges made by their leaseholders.
